About Us

The Radiation Biology Research Center (RBRC) was established in 2016 as a National Research Resource under support vice chancellor for research and technology of Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS). Since its beginning, the head of the center was Dr. Ali Neshasteh Rize with clinical radiobiology specialty

 The main goals of the center are to improve the health and treatment through ionized and non-ionized radiation, as well as to increase general knowledge on the use and exposure of the rays.  The other aims were to confront the challenges of understanding the molecular levels of radiation (ionizing and non-ionizing), involvement of experimentalists, theoreticians, computational scientists and collaboration among laboratories. Also, create new techniques to promote the clinical application of ionized and non-ionized radiation.
